Welcome to my Electronic Portfolio!
Hello and welcome! My name is Savannah Shurelds and I am a student at Ashland University. I am currently in the Education (Pre K-5) program. I do have my associates in Early Childhood from Columbus State Community College. I am a full time preschool teacher and go to school full time as well.
As part of an Ashland University course that I am taking, EDCI 232: Introduction to the Principles of Instructional Technology, I have been required to demonstrate my fluency in using various forms of instructional technology appropriate to the classroom. On the menu on the left side of every page, you will see tabs that showcase my work done throughout this semester. Please feel free to browse through each one to gain some perspective as to what I have learned and can now implement regarding instructional technology. Each of these projects can be incorporated into classroom instruction for the purpose of meeting curricular goals, facilitating and inspiring student learning, enhancing the learning process by providing students with an engaging learning experience, and the growing world of technology.
I have learned many new ideas and new learning ways to use in a classroom with students. The education world is a world that always leaves you learning and seeing things differently. Thus is true in the world of technology. Using all these tools will help me as a future teacher to help encourage children and teacher interaction.
I hope you enjoy looking through my portfolio and at the end of tabs there is a conclusion page where my contact information can be found.
