Twitter:
Twitter is considered micro-blogging, as it limits the writer's voice to one hundred and forty characters. This form of blogging is fast and quick to fit our fast pacing lives. This is so because all "tweets" can be accessed immediately once posted by the writer with only a Twitter account and a smartphone or computer. Twitter is meant to increase learning through interaction with others, improve written communication skills, give exposure to new and important technology, and begin building a professional online identity.
I created, published, and am maintaining a Twitter account, where I make comments (tweets they are called) of my thoughts on various course technology topics and respond to my classmates regarding their views on the material that we have been covering in this course. I am also following several educational Twitter accounts that keep me in tune with new and up coming educational events, tools, and help that I can use as great resources.
